John, the artist was in anguish when he heard the news of Nicholas’ pet.
He learned about the death of his pet when he was working on the final edits. It is the hardest moment for an artist to make something that is no more in this world.
He gave his 100% and made this painting the way Nicholas wanted it to be.
We shipped this people and pet portrait to Nicholas’s doorsteps with a condolence note.
His reply to it:
“Thank you for making this wonderful piece. I’m in grief but this might help me to get over it. You’ve made it the way I asked for. I wish my pet were here.”
